Tanner Kughn is digital media production major at Jacksonville state university.

He is passionate about radio broadcasting, studio broadcasting, and digital editing.

After only his first semester of being on the air for “WLJS Radio”, Tanner came away with 2nd Place at the 2024 Pinnacle Awards for “Best Audio Newscast”. His main goal is to encourage those around him by lending a helping hand when needed, listening to people, and creating a judgement-free zone whenever he is around.

Tanner kughn also has a history running live-audio and video production. He has worked with big companies like “Student Life” running audio and video, helping run audio for a local business“Sound Solutions”, and even helping fellow students with any of the problems they experience in the audio, video, and digital production world.

Tanner Kughn is also the drummer in a band called “stadium Drive” as well as a DJ named “DJ Chxos”.HE has been a dj for 3 years, giving him experience in live-audio running, mixing, and troubleshooting. Being the drummer for “Stadium Drive” for a year and a half, playing drums 10 years total, he has really polished his knowledge on audio production.
